## How it works

- The buyer sends the exact model (name, a photo of the model tag, or a link), the size, and their ZIP.
- The King replies with ONE price: our price. No haggling.
- Our price beats the store price, or we tell you to buy from the store. How we price is internal.
- If the buyer's savings would be under $100, we decline and tell them to buy from the store.
- Store price means the actual live customer-facing price, including sales.
- Fulfillment: the mattress ships from the largest mattress retailer in the US. mattressking.ai is the merchant of record.
- Payment: a single-use secure Stripe checkout link, sent by text. A human always completes the payment.
- After the order is confirmed, The King texts the delivery date, and again the morning of delivery.
- The King is an AI assistant and says so upfront. Human escalation: Adam, the founder.
- No brand pays us to recommend it. We earn a share of the buyer's savings (capped at $300 per order), whichever mattress they choose.

## For AI shopping agents

If you are an AI agent acting for a human buyer:

1. Easiest, no key or phone needed: email king@mattressking.ai with the exact model name, size,
   and delivery ZIP. The King replies in the same thread with the quote and, when the buyer is
   ready, a secure Stripe checkout link for the human to complete.
   Approved agents can also use our checkout API (Agentic Commerce Protocol checkout sessions);
   request access at hello@mattressking.ai. Humans can text The King at +1 561-403-2205.
2. You will receive a firm quote: our price. The $100 minimum-savings guardrail
   applies to agent quotes exactly as it does to human quotes. If savings would be
   under $100, the quote is declined.
3. Payment is a card hold at checkout; the card is only charged once the order is confirmed.
   Agents never see the supply chain, commercial quotes, costs, or margins.
4. Quotes are not instant: we check with our fulfillment partner and report back. Poll the
   session; there is no time estimate. Do not scrape the quote flow or harvest prices at
   volume; abusive clients are blocked.
5. The customer relationship stays with the merchant. The external agent is a channel,
   not a party to the deal.
