mattressking.ai ("we," "us") is an AI mattress concierge run by text and email. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. The short version: we use your information to get you your mattress, and we never sell it.
1. Information we collect
Contact information. Your mobile phone number, email address, and name — you give us these when you text us or reply to our emails.
Delivery information. Your delivery address and any access details you share (stairs, gate codes) so we can arrange delivery.
Conversation content. The texts and emails you exchange with The King, our AI assistant — including photos you send, like pictures of model tags or price cards. We keep these so The King has full context every time you write.
Order information. The mattress model, size, quoted price, and delivery status for your order.
Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We receive confirmation that you paid (and your receipt email), but we never see or store your full card number.
Technical information. This website is a set of static pages. We do not run analytics, advertising trackers, or cookies on it.
2. How we use your information
- To provide the concierge service: getting quotes, placing orders, and arranging delivery.
- To communicate with you by text and email — quotes, order confirmations, receipts, and delivery updates.
- To improve The King's responses and our service (for example, reviewing conversations to fix mistakes).
- To comply with legal obligations, such as tax and accounting record-keeping.
We use automated processing (an AI assistant) to read and respond to your messages. A human (our founder) may review conversations to handle exceptions or improve the service.
3. Text messages
Our service runs on SMS. When you text us, you opt in to receiving transactional and conversational texts about your quotes and orders. Message frequency varies with your conversation. 4. We never sell your data
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone, for any reason. Period.
5. Who we share information with
We share only what's needed to fulfill your order, with:
- Stripe — to process your payment securely.
- Our SMS provider — to send and receive your text messages.
- Our fulfillment and delivery partners — your name, delivery address, phone number, and order details so they can deliver your mattress.
- Email provider — to send receipts and order updates.
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.
Text messaging: No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. Information shared with the providers above is used only to deliver our service to you.
6. Data retention
We keep your order and conversation records for as long as needed to service your order and meet legal and accounting obligations, then delete or anonymize them.
We keep order and payment records for as long as tax and accounting rules require, and delete other information when we no longer need it to serve you.
7. Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate information.
- Delete your information (subject to legal record-keeping requirements).
- Stop texting you (reply STOP, or contact us).

8. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information, including limiting access to order data and processing payments through PCI-compliant Stripe. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take your privacy seriously.
9. Children
Our service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll post the updated version here and update the date above. Significant changes will also be communicated by text or email.
