1. Program description
mattressking.ai ("we," "us") operates an AI mattress concierge called The King. Our text-message program sends you conversational and transactional messages related to your mattress quotes and orders: price quotes, order confirmations, payment links, delivery scheduling, delivery reminders, and customer-support replies.
Messages come from our concierge number, (561) 403-2205, published on mattressking.ai.
2. Consent / opt-in
You opt in by texting us first — either by tapping the "Text The King" button on our website (which opens your messaging app with a message ready to send) or by texting our concierge number directly. Sending that first message is your consent to receive conversational text messages from us about your quotes and orders.
Consent is not a condition of purchase. You can ask questions and receive a quote without completing an order.
3. Message frequency
Message frequency varies depending on your conversation with The King. A typical quote or order involves a handful of messages; an active order with delivery scheduling may involve more. We do not send marketing blasts — every message relates to your conversation or order with us.
4. Cost
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan. Check with your carrier if you're unsure.
5. Opting out
You can cancel the SMS program at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you opt out, we'll send one final confirmation text and then stop messaging you, unless you text us again (which re-opts you in).
Note: if you opt out while an order is in progress, we won't be able to send you delivery updates by text — contact us by email at hello@mattressking.ai instead.

7. AI disclosure
The King is an AI assistant. You'll always be told you're communicating with an AI — never a human pretending to be one. If something needs a person, you'll be connected with our founder.
8. Carriers & compatibility
Our program works with major U.S. carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery of messages is subject to your carrier's coverage and your device's capabilities.
9. Privacy
How we collect and use your information — including your phone number and message content — is described in our Privacy Policy. We never sell your data.
10. Changes
We may update these terms; the current version will always be posted here with an updated date. Continued use of the text program after changes means you accept them.
